So yesterday, I got the mail when I got home from school, and as usual, there were several packages for Rand. I almost didn’t notice that one of them was addressed to me! What could it be, I wondered. I didn’t order anything.

So I opened the package, and inside it was a copy of John Scalzi’s new book. And then I remembered…months ago, I pre-ordered the book to get in on a special deal where I would get a limited edition numbered and signed copy of the book, plus a chapbook. (How long ago did I order it? Well, it was shipped to my current address, but had my maiden name on it…so sometime between the end of May and the second week of July.)

I’m very much looking forward to reading it, just as soon as I have some free time. (hahahahaha)
