I’ve posted this photo before, but I just adore it so much.

I can’t believe it’s been seven years. I still wish I could have introduced her to Rand. I still wish she was going to be here to see me get married.

I miss you, gram.

both ym grams were gone long before our wedding, and all of joe's grandparents, as well as both joe's parents.
so we're quite happy to have mine around, esp. after the many health scares with my dad (cancer) over the last 5 or so years.
i guess in a way the losses can make you appreciate those who are still on the earth.
we thought of putting a flower in the chair where joe's mom would ahve been, but instead had joe's mom's best friend be her "stand-in"
that was kind of nice.
